Our science topic this term has been Evolution and Inheritance. We have studied adaptations, evolution and inheritance in animals and plants. Also, we have found out about the prominent Victorian scientist Charles Darwin and his amazing adventures on the Galapagos Islands. We carried out an investigation about his famous finches using tweezers, kitchen tongs and pegs to mimic the adaptations of the different finches’ beaks.
